Aja Ekadashi falls in the month of Bhadrapada
(August-Sepyember. It is also known by different names
as ‘Bhadrapada Krishna Ekadashi,’ ‘ Jaya
Ekadashi’ and, ‘Kamika Ekadashi.’ Lord Vishnu is
worshipped on this day. Significance and importance of
Aja Ekadasi can be studied from the Brahmavaivarta
Purana. It is believed that whoever observes fast on
Aja Ekadashi, gets free from all the sins of past.
